Washington, DC -- Experts in Al Qaeda and state sponsored terrorism testified
at the third public hearing of The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon
the United States. Although there was some disagreement about whether Al Qaeda
is capable of launching another attack such as September 11th, all recommended
that the United States work cooperatively with other nations to fight the global
terror threat. Some felt that the war in Iraq will spawn further terrorism if
the US cannot bring stability quickly to the country.
There was agreement that rebuilding should be a multinational effort.
